Produced in 1809, Abraham Lincoln is Famous for being the 16th President of the United States.
He had been a champion of equal rights, and that he blazed a trail to the liberty of slaves in the USA. But Lincoln didn’t begin as a success story. He failed many times before reaching the highest office in the territory.
In 1832, when he had been 23-years older, Lincoln lost his occupation. At exactly the exact same time, he also lost his bid for State Legislature. Just 3 decades later, in age 26, the love of the lifetime, Ann Rutledge expired. Another 3 years later? He dropped his bid to become Speaker in the Illinois House of Representatives.
Back in 1848, at the time of 39-years older, Lincoln also failed in his bid to become Commissioner of the General Land Office in D.C. Ten years later that, at the age of 49-years old, he was defeated in his quest to turn into a U.S. Senator. Obviously, through all of the personal, business and governmental failures, Lincoln didn’t quit.
In 1846, Lincoln has been elected into the U.S. House of Representatives in which he offered a bill to abolish slavery. In 1861, at age 52, he procured the office of President of the USA and has become one of the most well-known failures to hold office in the USA. His face also appears around the U.S. five-dollar bill.
